I bought this ring after a lot of online research on black diamond rings, and after reading the reviews on this product (good and the bad). I also liked all the details that they gave on the product specifications. The setting of ring is VERY DAINTY, much more petite than the picture suggests. The band width is 1 mm. But I knew what to expect as far as daintiness because of other purchaser's reviews. There are 4 tiny diamond chips around the center stone, placed at north, south, east and west. They give the ring a nice accent when they catch the light, as do the two tiny side chip diamonds. The center black diamond is untreated, meaning the stone was not irridated or heat treated to make the diamond look dark, dark black. This important for the purchaser to know. My center stone has a natural translucency and is a very dark gray in color. The stone itself is not scratched. However, it does have visible inclusions inside the stone, which are natural graphite desposits inherent in black diamonds. I find this to be a unique feature of black diamonds and the graphite inclusions actually give my ring an added iridescence at certain angles. Most people who are not aware of black diamond properties would probably consider the stone to be cloudy, flawed or unwearable (I don't!). The stone is facetetd for maximum sparkle - it's definitely one of its best features. The setting allows light to pass through the stone allowing the dark stone to really stand out. I also discovered that black diamonds are more dense and weigh more than white diamonds, so a .5 ct black diamond will be slightly smaller than a .5 ct white diamond. If you really want a black diamond, you need to educate yourself to manage your expectations of your purchase.

I received this ring from my boyfriend for valentines day and I love it. It's my birthstone and just what I wanted. The diamonds are small, but they are real and that is all that matters. The stone size is very good as well. The sterling silver and diamond combination gives just enough sparkle to the ring.

I waited three years for my wedding bands and I dont feel bad at all now that I have these! They are so nice and the diamonds are very sparkly. I have friends who paid more than double what I did and theres were not as nice. The band is a lil thin on the bottom but you dont even notice it when its with you ring but because I bought two its nice cause it dosent feel bulky on my finger. Would buy this ring again and the jewlery cleaner it came with was great it cleaned my ring to look like it was new! so it looked like I got every thing at the same time. I'll never take my ring to get cleaned I'm going to just buy the cleaner off here : )

It's a dainty little cross with enough ruby sparkle to make it shine for the right person. Fully impressed. Bought this very discounted, expected cheap costume jewelry, but got a heavy weight, long, and very attractive necklace (not 'heavy', but not light like a charm bracelet by any stretch.) These are extremely nice earrings. Not too big, not too small and very sturdy. It gives a look of the pearl having an earring jacket around when it's actually attached and I love the bullet backs on them as well. I've worn this ring almost every day since receiving it, and have gotten some compliments, too. The ring is a little on the gaudy side, but fun to wear. As the stone is not polished, no one wold guess that it is a real ruby, also because it is so big. For the money, it was a good buy because I do like it and wanted a large, red ring. If you're looking for elegance, look elsewhere, but if you want just a fun, unusual ring I can recommend this product.

From the picture I thought the earrings were smaller and less detailed. It was a very good price so I bought one more for a friend.

I wasn't expecting a high quality ring for this price point. I was expecting a nice, higher quality "costume" jewelry ring and that is what I got. The silver part of the ring is beautiful and the design has a very "antique" feel to it. The stone is completely cloudy but that is okay with me as I didn't have high expectations. The shape of the stone is very interesting as well.
