I bought this ring for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. I was unsure if he would like it as it has a reflective clear coat on it. He absolutely loves it! It is good, sturdy material, with well inlaid koa wood. The wood is a little reflective in the light which carches the eye nicely. The ring is not super flashy, which is what my boyfriend was looking for, that and black or wood for the ring material. The engraving is free and very neat, with several fonts to choose from. Once you write out what you want engraved you are actually able to view the inscription in the photos of the ring. This was extremely helpful in picking my font as I am a little indecisive. I am very glad I found the ring and it was on sale for a very good price. Definitely would recommend.
