I like the ring and wear it often because the colored stone matches many of my outfits. The stone is dark, with little shine or sparkle. And when they said "rough cut", I guess they meant the edges weren't finished and polished. Based on other reviews and what you see in the picture, the appearance is pretty "spot on". LIke I said in the title, it's a nice ring and I am glad that I purchased it. I would recommend it to others.--Anne Louise Hyatt.

Lovely filigree mounting. Diamonds, not really visible except fort a little extra sparkle. Center sapphire stone, an attractive royal blue. I was a bit apprehensive that the ring would be too large. It is an impressive size but looks great on my small hand. Definitely worth more than the price and definitely a keeper. I have bought from super jeweler before with satisfaction. My ring is beautiful, I love the setting. My only "complaint" is that there is no clarity in the sapphire, very dense stone. I am receiving a lot of compliments and I wear it everyday. I was able to get this ring for $30 with my BradsDeals coupon, so for that price you can't beat the value. I was unsure about the shape at first, especially on my small (4.5 but I ordered a 5) fingers, but it looks great and is not too big. The detailing on the side is nice.
The only qualm I have is that the stone is a rough, natural cut sapphire, which I did not realize before I ordered. So, it is not very polished and the edges of it are not smooth and shiny. If I had spent more than $30 I might have returned it, but for the price I feel it's worth it. I do love the ring, though I would like it more if it was shinier.--nadineann.

When the ring arrived, although the price was AMAZING, I just didn't like the way the ring was finished. The sapphire was not set IN to the ring, it kinda sat on top of the setting so you could see the cut edges. All in all it just didnt look good on my finger.--UKANNIE.

For the price I guess you can call it a value. Stone was not a finished stone, had jagged edges and chips in the face of the stone. Poor workmanship. The stone is flat, no luster. The color is more like lapis, not sapphire. The setting is bulky. The diamonds, are not visible. The order took an exceptionally long time to arrive. The gift for my inconvenience, looked like a 25 cent toy.--Lori.

Purchasing was very easy. the quality is below what I would expect for. Cheap costume jewelry. The stone mall scratched on the top and the sides. The stone quality appears extremely fake!
I bought it for a gift. Now I have to pay to return it. So I pay twice!! How bad is that?! It''s extremely disturbing that I am spending money for shipping back a defective cheap looking product.

I still need to call to get this squared away, but i had to wait a month for the item to be shipped. After calling to change the size, the new size was never ordered. WHen I got the item it was smashed. The ring is bent so badly that the sapphire (if it truly is a sapphire) came out of the setting. The sapphire looks like someone rubbed it across the sidewalk and ran over it a few times. There are no diamonds. I wish i could upload a picture here.--Meegan.

I have never seen a piece of sapphire like this. Lifeless with specks of white (like it needs to be dusted) throughout the stone. The stone also was crudely cut.--love jewelry.

I purchased a sapphire & diamond ring as a first time customer. This ring took just shy of a month to get to me. Finally, when it did arrive there are major defects to the ring...chips and cuts! It takes away from the gem completely. I had to call three times to remind the returns dept. to send me a shipping label. Now I anticipate an equally long wait to get this ring repaired & sent back. I'm so dissapointed with this company and even though this was my first order I am pretty certain it will be my last.--cottontop7.

I was excited to receive my first purchase from SuperJeweler.com,a sapphire and diamond ring, but was very disappointed because the stone was scratched and pitted on the top where it is supposed to be polished and smooth. I called and told the cust. serv. rep. that the ring was damaged, and I would like to return it for a replacement. She said okay and she would send me a return label. She called me back in 15 minutes and told me that it is a "rough cut" stone and that is why it is scratched and pitted, and if I wanted to return it, I could at my own expense. The ring description did not say anything about "rough cut". I have returned it because with all the scratches and pits, it is not a ring I would wear.--LWT.

The ring that I received has a stone that looks nothing like the picture. It is a dull cloudy stone with a cut to give the illusion of a nice sapphire (which it fails to do). If there are diamonds, I cannot see them with the naked eye. Very disappointing.--stillcheryl.
