I purchased these earrings knowing that leverbacks are so wonderful for an older woman who has problems with the smaller earrings with stud bccks. Absolutely most beautiful color that goes with everything! I feel so wonderfully made up when I wear these dazzling amethyst earrings and so many compliments are directed at me. I'm so glad I ordered these. I looked at them for two weeks,not sure if I should order. I worried mostly about the color. Green Amethysts are often so pale, they're just clear and white. On this one you can see the green. Not in every light, but in certain light they look just like on the picture. A nice beautiful ocean green. I also like the leverback. They're are so comfortable. I can wear them day and night. The stone sparkles some, but not too much. I don't like it too sparkly, so they're are just perfect.--Phh.

It's clear .. sparkly.. very attractive. It simple n elegant. If you are lookin for a green earrings.. this is not the one... It's a very pale green.. almost like white.
