I recently bought this ring from Superjeweler.com and I've received so many complements. The ring is really well-made. Sterling silver, bright and shiny. There are four tiny diamonds but they do catch the light and sparkle. Looking at the inside of the ring it's very nicely cast with no rough edges or sloppy blobs of silver. Stamped "925", it's a very cleanly made setting. There are even tiny drill holes seen from the inside of the ring where the four diamonds are mounted. Someone took the time to do this ring and do it nicely. The image shown does not do the ring justice, the setting is something you would expect from a much more expensive ring.
Turning my attention to the stone, it's a beautiful dark red Ruby. Though the stone is heavily included light can still pass through it from either side. It appears to be a genuine ruby, upon examination with a 10X eye loupe, I found very minute traces of green Zoisite, a mineral that's found alongside Ruby. I called superjeweler.com to ask where the ruby came from and the salesperson said Africa.
This is a very pretty ring. You will not be disappointed.--Miss_X2.

I wanted a ruby to wear to my daughter's wedding. But, as anyone who has paid for a wedding, knows, at some point, it becomes stressful shelling out cash for a pack of gum. This ring received mixed reviews. Decided to take the gamble. It is an elegant and hard to miss ring. The stone has a bit of shine to it,and the color is an authentic deep pink color. There is a small scratch on it. However, we are talking about a rough cut, unpolished stone. The cut and setting are well done. The silver work superb. Prompt delivery. I love the four "hands" that appear to clutch the stone. This is not a ring that should be worn everyday, but it makes a statement.--Athena.

This looks better in person than it does on line. My girlfriend is going to love it. Its her birth stone so it will be a surprise for her birthday.--Sue Mahoney.

This ring has become one of my favorites. The stone is more raspberry shaded than classic ruby red, but it's clearly a lovely natural stone. Definitely a nice, dramatic piece of jewelry. It is particularly a good value for the price point.--Katherine.

I am very happy with this ring, the silver work is very beautiful and the stone is very striking. This is a rough cut ruby and of course can't compare to a gem quality cut stone (which at 7 carats would a few thousand), but it is still very pretty and is an affordable way to own a ruby.--Vanessa Lo Piccolo.

I've worn this ring almost every day since receiving it, and have gotten some compliments, too. The ring is a little on the gaudy side, but fun to wear. As the stone is not polished, no one wold guess that it is a real ruby, also because it is so big. For the money, it was a good buy because I do like it and wanted a large, red ring. If you're looking for elegance, look elsewhere, but if you want just a fun, unusual ring I can recommend this product.--chinacourt.

I wasn't expecting a high quality ring for this price point. I was expecting a nice, higher quality "costume" jewelry ring and that is what I got. The silver part of the ring is beautiful and the design has a very "antique" feel to it. The stone is completely cloudy but that is okay with me as I didn't have high expectations. The shape of the stone is very interesting as well.--BeeTee.

I received this interesting ring and examined the stone up closely, top to bottom. I found that it was cut or broken into two pieces. Although the cut is a "rough cut", it was still an interesting and pretty ring. Because of the lack of quality control (?) though, I will have to send this back. No exchange was allowed. Major disappointment.--F Jones.

This is a ring to behold. She is beautiful to wear and show off to all who look at her in all her splendor. She is one of God stones with a rough cut and is nicely placed in a diamond cut sterling setting which shows her off with a sparkle. Red is a color which wears nicely formally or casual. This ring I have waited for for a long time. She is a beauty and I love her. Excellent and viewed and asked about by many who have seen me wear her.--Monti Skiby.

Hello, I think my ring overall is fairly impressive, although i do feel that the cut and finish of the ruby was kind of rough. Along the edges of the ruby it is white from cutting, unpolished and i feel more time should have been spent on finishing the stone. The ruby it's self has quite a few black spots in it that are quite visible at first glance and that is pretty dissappointing. For a ring appearently worth 199.99 I would have thought the jewel clairity would have been a bit better. But I guess price reflects quality.--PattyCakes.
